I’m going to guess that’s a couple billion more than you did.
If it was 2009 and you were looking to buy a product online, you’d probably start your search on Google and eventually end up on Amazon. HOWEVER, according to my calculations its 2018, and statistically speaking you and just about everyone else on the planet starts their product search directly on Amazon (which isn’t very good news if you’re an e-commerce retailer).
BUT, don’t go drinking everything under the sink just yet because I do have some good news – as long as you’re committed to putting a concerted, consistent effort into your E-Commerce Marketing, you can get your slice of that 177 billion dollar pie.

By putting an emphasis on specific areas of your site like Product Reviews, Live Chat, Usability, Design, Social Media, A/B Testing, Conversion Optimization and keeping in mind that the checkout is the beginning of the relationship rather than the end, you’ll be putting more money directly into your wallet (or purse.
